Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information MRR Factory ("we", "us") collects when you use mrrfactory.co and our apps (the "Service"), how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. Questions? Email support@mrrfactory.co.

1. The short version

• We collect what we need to run a free community: your account details, what you post, and basic usage data.
• We don't sell your personal information.
• Linking a payment processor is optional and read-only. Keys are encrypted and you can unlink any time.
• We email you about your account. We send marketing emails only if you opt in.
• You can download or delete your data.

2. What we collect

You give us:

• Account info: name, email address, username, password or sign-in method, and age confirmation (you must be 16+).
• Profile info: photo, bio, "What do you do?" (your role and industry), location if you add it, and links.
• Content: posts, comments, reactions, chat and direct messages, stories, images and videos you upload, and what you say or show in live streams and live chat.
• Support and reports: messages you send us and reports you make about other members.

When you link a payment processor (optional):

• The access token or read-only API key for the account you link (Stripe, Square, Whop, Gumroad or Shopify), stored encrypted.
• Revenue data we read from it to verify your numbers, such as totals, recurring revenue, currency and dates. We don't collect your customers' card details and we can't move money.

Automatically:

• Device and log data: IP address, browser and device type, pages and features used, dates and times, and crash or error data.
• Cookies and similar tech (see section 6).
• Notification tokens if you turn on push notifications.

3. How we use it

• To run the Service: create your account, sign you in, show your profile and content, deliver messages, run lives, and show the leaderboard.
• To verify and display revenue you choose to share.
• To keep the community safe: moderation, spam and fraud prevention, enforcing our Terms and Community rules.
• To send account emails and notifications (sign-in links, security alerts, replies, DMs, live reminders, important changes).
• To send marketing emails, only if you've opted in.
• To understand how the Service is used and improve it.
• To follow the law and respond to lawful requests.

4. What other people can see

• Public by default: your profile (name, username, photo, bio, "What do you do?"), and posts or leaderboard entries you make public. Some public content may appear on our public pages and be found by search engines.
• Members: posts and chat in community channels, stories, and live chat can be seen by other members.
• Private: direct messages are only visible to the people in the conversation, except when reported or reviewed for safety or legal reasons.
• Lives: if you appear in a live stream, viewers can see and hear you, and the live may be recorded and replayed (see our Terms).
• Revenue: only what you choose to show. Your processor keys are never shown to anyone.

5. Who we share it with

We don't sell your personal information or share it for cross-context advertising. We share it only with service providers that help us run MRR Factory, under contracts that limit how they use it:

We may also share information:

• when the law requires it, or to protect the safety, rights or property of members, the public or MRR Factory;
• with a buyer or successor if MRR Factory is merged, sold or reorganised (we'll tell you first);
• with your permission.

Our providers may store and process data in the United States and other countries.

6. Cookies and analytics

• Essential cookies keep you signed in, keep the Service secure, and remember your settings. The Service doesn't work without them.
• Analytics: we use privacy-friendly analytics (such as Vercel Analytics and Speed Insights) to count page views and measure performance.
• We don't use advertising cookies today.
• You can block or clear cookies in your browser, but signing in may stop working.

7. Emails

• Account emails (sign-in, security, important changes) are always sent while you have an account.
• Marketing emails are sent only if you opt in. You can unsubscribe with the link in any marketing email or in your settings.
• We may track whether emails are delivered and opened to keep delivery working and measure interest.

8. How long we keep it

• We keep your information while your account is open.
• If you delete your account, we delete or anonymise your profile and content within 30 days, and delete stored processor keys straight away. Backups are overwritten within 90 days.
• We may keep some records longer where the law requires or for safety (for example, records of bans, fraud or abuse reports).
• Live recordings are kept for as long as the replay is offered, then deleted.

9. Your choices and rights

• Access and download your data, correct it, or delete your account in settings or by emailing support@mrrfactory.co.
• Unlink a payment processor any time in settings. We stop reading data and delete the stored keys. You can also revoke access from the processor's dashboard.
• Opt out of marketing emails any time.
• Turn push notifications off in your device settings.
• Depending on where you live (for example, California or the EU/UK), you may have extra rights, such as to object to or restrict processing, or to complain to a data protection authority. We won't treat you differently for using your rights. Email support@mrrfactory.co and we'll respond within the time the law requires.

10. Security

We use encryption in transit (HTTPS), encryption at rest for processor keys, access controls, and two-step sign-in for staff. No system is perfectly secure. If a breach affects your information, we'll tell you as the law requires.

11. Children

MRR Factory is for people 16 and older. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 16. If you think a child under 16 has an account, email support@mrrfactory.co and we'll delete it.

12. Changes

We may update this policy. If changes are significant, we'll tell you by email or in the app before they take effect.
